Hi,

So you are asking which suit looks best, which means you must care to a degree how you look in the suit, even though you arent a big fan of wearing one, true?

Walking down the street, or into drinkis after work, the least best fitting of those suits with the button done up will look better than the best one without. Simply buttoning will elevate you into the top 10% with a suit that is even ballpark suitable.

One things for sure, its easier to do than finding a perfect fitting suit for a far greater return

Thanks to all who replied - I really appreciate it. So many newbies post here and the board is always so giving with feedback. I know that can't be easy for veterans of this forum. The "does this fit" threads must get old after a while.

Given the feedback I've received here, I've decided to return all the suits and start over concentrating on 42L suits. I went back to Off 5th today and tried on more jackets. Now that I've been enlightened a bit more about shoulder fit and what can be more easily fixed, I'm more comfortable with how the 42 suits fit off the rack. I found the Saks label suits seem to fit me well. And there always seems to be plenty of them there - so I'm just waiting on a better sale now. I also found a Hickey Freeman 42L on sale on the HF site so I'll be interested to see how it fits given the 43Ls I've already tried from there.

Anyway - thanks again for the help. Once I get another round of suits in (that hopefully fit better this time) I'm sure I'll be back for more advice.

They are all big and ill fitted, thye just look overall sloppy to me. Much tailoring would be needed for any of these to look even half way decent on you.
