Help and Advice on Waist Suppression for Blazer

    Hi Everyone,

    This is the first time I'm posting. Even after reading articles and looking through youtube on how much you should take a blazer in at the waist, I'm still uncertain if I need to take in this Blazer at the waist which I bought - I feel like its a little bit big at the waist but not sure?

    Please help me out and tell me by looking at this picture if I should take it in abit more at the waist? THANKS!

    It doesn't look too bad to me for off the rack. Maybe a little extra room through the back. I think it would be personal preference if you want a little more suppression or not. Some people here like things really slim fitting and some don't. Really up to you but it looks okay as is to me.

    The biggest problem is sleeve length - much too long. Shirt sleeves also are too long.

    i'd leave it as is i think (minus sleeve length)

    ^ I wouldn't touch it, except the sleeves.

    Also, it looks like the lapels are bowing out, would need a straight on shot to make sure.

    It's got shape in the body. You don't have to take it in. You COULD take it in a bit and clean up the back, but it doesn't look bad. Shortening the sleeves is big fix that you need to take care of ASAP.
