Picked up an m65 off the internet, do you guys think I need to have it tailored? It comes with a liner, so if the fit is off, this could turn into quite the problem.

Also, I'm looking for some wrist length leather gloves in a natural leather color, is there anywhere in particular I should look?

The body looks huge, but I have a feeling thats more to do with the length of the jacket than the actual body, I'd shorten the length by 2 inches or so if possible and take the body in a tad if it still looks too big/if you want it slimmer. The whole thing may actually be a size too big the more I look at it.

Exactly what I didn't want to hear, the supplier is in england. Any ideas about the gloves?
Also, where exactly should the bottom of an M65 reach? I'm looking at some pictures on line and a lot of them seem to go to the bottom of the crotch.

+1

Look at the seam, it hangs off your shoulders. length in the arms seems long. A tailor can help most of the problems, but it'll cost you at least $30 to fix everything.

No offense, but I think the fit and color, look terrible. I would just return it and save for a better/nicer fitting jacket that doesn't need alterations.

I picked mine up (brown leather, cashmere lined) from nordstrom for about $60. If they still have them they should be marked down more by now (mine were half off right after christmas)

It looks terrible. At least one size too big if not two.
