HELM Handmade boots

I've been on the look out for the perfect boot for me and I've come across these awesome handmade boots by a company called HELM.

Has anyone had any expierence with this company? I like the "Ray-Ray".

I dont find the designs offensive but the 'process' page is a load of crap. a cemented construction shoe/boot isn't a 'work of art', nor does it take 5 days to make. and I wish brands would stop throwing the term 'hand-stitched' around. A dude working a sewing machine doesnt make it hand-stitched

One good response in this thread. The designs aren't bad. I kind of like the Emi.

I like these Ray Ray in denim . Don't want to drop $445 on a shoe that will give out in 2 years. Also not sure I like the white band...

Agreed, some of the styling is alright.

But I've seen these in person. Believe me, you want no part of them at anywhere near retail price. It's a cemented sole and corrected grain fiesta. Timberland Abington hits some similar looks, but at a price that's much more in line with the materials used.
