Did they recommend you becoming a member here?

Were you into Evisu before the internship?

Paper and ES were both great for a while, highly regarded on the forum as well, though they both went way downhill in the end. Some people here have very short memories.

yes they were both good. Scott was the backbone for both brands and when he split both brands went bye-bye

pd&c were like the first premium jean I owned. Were amazing for a while, then they went downhill to like H&M quality.

They were one of the pioneers of a "premium" jean for the mass markets, I question whether their quality really changed at all as opposed to the few of us who "graduated" to the repro level that requires jeans to be of a quality that withstands gunfire and attention to detail beyond sanity, resulting in scoffs at anything less than 21oz superslub crossweave zimbabwean organic natural indigo denim.....

i never graduated to repro level :p I hate repro jeans their fit is always off on me. I mean after morrison left and their price point dropped to 99 bucks, their quality followed.

By the way, for anyone in the GTA area Holts Last Call has (let me see if I can remember this name) Evisu Nuemi Japan Custom Handcrated jeans for $100. They are Dry and selvage. But they are big, very big.

If they had a size 32-33 (which would fit more like a 35-36), I would have bought. Nice denim, very soft and comfy. Red seagulls at the back but nothing much flashier than, say, Nudie back pockets.

Yeah PDC was also the first premium jean I own. I actually like Earnest Sewn. I think their distress jeans were nice. Not too far out there.
