Heel & Toe socks - bad look?

Am I the only one who thinks it's an ugly look when the different-colour heel part of the sock is visible when wearing shoes?

There's an old saying that I like to quote: "A businessman matches his socks to his trousers. A gentleman matches his socks to his mood."

Socks are an area where it's okay and even desired by some to be tacky.
