A few days ago, I received a Horween heavy steerhide double-rider style motorcycle jacket. It's nearly perfect in regards to hardware, style, and snugness. But the body length is .75" shorter than I asked. As a result, the jacket sits on top of my beltline, and not over it. When I e-mailed the company, they responded that the leather "will relax to the perfect length for you." This strikes me as false. Perhaps it's a euphemism for "you'll get over it." What do y'all think? Is it likely that a Horween heavy black steerhide jacket is going to stretch over half an inch in body length? I suspect an educated answer to this question will be an emphatic 'no'. But I figured I'd ask.
