having trouble finding a stylish black/dark sneaker with white soles

I'm currently struggling to find a pair of black/dark sneakers with white soles to be an interchangeable piece for my wardrobe - something I could maybe wear casually everyday or dress up a bit.

These are what inspired me: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/500884789778130009/ - I don't know the make and model of those and I probably can't afford them anyway. Any recommendations?

Here's what I tried on so far:

Lanvin Low Top Sneaker - a lil' too wide up front, a lil' skater-ish and/or sloppy nerd chunky shoe, doesn't fit budget (actually it just got marked down from $570 to $382... still on the high end of my budget) - http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/lanvin-low-top-sneaker/3495693

Thorocraft Porter - love the look, various materials and splash of color on the back, but it also looks a lil' skater-ish from some angles (especially top down) - http://www.***********.com/thorocraft/footwear/sneakers/porter/products/123249

Supra Cuttler - the look is spot on what I want, but can't find them anywhere (plus they may be too skater-ish too) - http://www.pinterest.com/pin/302656037428306788/

Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, but I think those are a different look than I'm looking for. It's a bit too causal and look as though they can look raggedy fairly quickly.

Any more suggestions closer to the style of the Thorocraft or Supra's?

Those are 50x better made than what you're suggesting.

Considering that it looks like Efron is actually wearing a pair of those Common Projects in that picture, it's hard to know what you're getting at here.

Oh, I think you're right; it does look like he's wearing Common Projects. With that new info, I'll revise... I like the profile of the Common Projects (i.e., not bulky/chunky up front), but I like the stylings of the Supra Cuttler. Any new recommendations based on that?

Thanks for your help so far

Filippa K has some decent high-top sneaks in this color combination.

Nice recommendations! As I dig more and more into this hunt I see the Common Projects and the Filippa K's are better interchangeable pieces for me. The only problem is they're extremely hard to find in stock and if they are in stock, they don't have my size (12 US... 45 EU?). However I do wear an 11 in Converse Chuck Taylors and Common Projects & Filippa K are kinda similar in style and design... does anyone know if they run big like Chuck's?

To my surprise Nordstrom had a pair of the Common Projects black and white vintage mid-tops on the rack so I grabbed them! My only concern is the sole is yellowish/off-white. Are these just as interchangeable as the other version with stark white soles?

P.S. - FYI, they fit pretty well (a little bit too much room in the tip, but that's okay) and the look and feel is even better than what I was originally shooting for. Thanks again for the recommendation!

What do you mean by interchangeable? They're black sneakers with a clean profile, it's not rocket science. If you like the sole, then it's fine.

From an interchangable scale of 1 to orange, they're about peach.

Your off white souls now condemn to aimlessly shuffle along with all those other damned, damned souls

those who though an off white sole could pass for a white

you're fucked, man

Well, the reason for the emphasis on the details is I'm building a new wardrobe and I'm just hoping these shoes can be the most versatile piece in the collection. Off white can take away from a look sometimes.
