Have you guys ever bought clothes/shoes/watches from ebay?

Overall, have people had good or bad experiences with this?

I think most, if not all of us have. eBay has great deals and you will usually find things cheaper on there.

I've bought only two items from eBay, but in both cases were excellent and positive experiences. If you're new to eBay, you should obviously be cautious of who you buy from. Try to buy from top-rated and positive-feedback sellers. The trick when buying is to check the user's feedback.

No problem. Oh and you shouldn't worry too much about scams because you're protected through eBay's protection program. On top of that, you're also protected by Paypal. Most importantly though you should link your credit card with your Paypal account. That way, if eBay or Paypal can't recover your money, you can always issue a chargeback. So you have triple protection, no sweat.

I get about a sixty percent success figure. Sometimes I'll end up with something damaged beyond easy repair, or where they lied about size.

However, if you know your size and stick to NWT suits and jackets, I have good luck. The last suit I bought needs a new zipper, because I'll stand up and suddenly my crotch is on display.

Anyhow, it's a crapshoot.

Ebay is the best site for online shopping. It provides every thing on cheap rates. Its services are very good.
My experience is very good with ebay.

eBay is great - here are some simple rules that I follow:

1. Never buy from a seller with less than 100% feedback or who has a low number of feedbacks
2. Know your size(s) and understand the product
3. Ask a LOT of very specific questions
4. Only buy from sellers who offer return/exchanges
5. Only buy clothing items that are NIB, NWT, etc. (used shoes/clothing is gross!)

I used to buy and sell old bicycle parts on Ebay about 10-15 years ago. Wouldn't touch it now though. If I want counterfeits, they're usually much cheaper locally.
