I don't deal with paper much these days, having converted to a digital lifestyle, but I was just thinking the other day that some of my tie clips could be used as paperclips. If only I had some paper around to try it out on.

The real question is: have you ever used a paperclip as a tie clip?

Glennie would ask: have you ever clipped a tie with paper?

No, but I have used a tie clip as a roach clip when I was younger.
If you want to unload those tieclips, PM me! I'll take them off your hands. Be assured they would be used with ties

I've seen nice(?) sterling tie clips that resemble (i.e. look exactly like) a big paper clip...

+1. Actually, a mens clothier near where I live was selling oversized, sterling silver paperclips for use as money clips. They looked quite nice.
