1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Oy vey, call the ADL. Somewhere, someone, of indeterminate ethnicity, recounted a not 100% positive story about someone else of indeterminate ethnicity.

A graduation tassel from a mortar board hat dated '65. Found in a wool black/white houndstooth vintage blazer. That was cool. A spent .357 slug that whacked me in the leg from a dude's ricochet. Found in the cuff of my own jeans a week after the shooting range. [IMG]

The post about the yarmulke was surely a joke, as was mine. Taking things too seriously?

I bought a parka/coat off chasedizzy on sufu over a year ago and there was $2 in the pocket. He even made a joke about it in a rep of his. Was a funny surprise.

This could have been such a good story had you not have included the shooting range bit.

I found a 20 pence coin in the coin pocket of a Japanese sportcoat I bought at a Goodwill in California.

I keep it there for good luck.

Found a a paisley tie in the pocket of a blazer I bought here at styleforum. Not sure if it was intended as an extra gift or just a mistake.

Ew. Come on, dude. It's one thing to not wash your jeans for several months, but to not wash someone else's second-hand butt and junk funk? That's not good. Used jeans should be washed. They will still fade.

One time I went to a thrift store (didn't come out with anything) but I found like this little folded piece of paper in this suit that fit too big on me with some numbers on them. I took the paper and out of curiosity I called the numbers and they were all male escort service things. Good thing I didn't try on the pants.
