With so many peacoats threads floating around, it seems like a popular choice amongst us. What type of hats do you guys think would work with a peacoat and jeans for fall/winter?

I have a couple tweed newsboy-like hats that I tend to wear. That, or a toque (beanie to all you Americans).

I'd go with a ragg wool cap which depending on who made it, could cost you from $4.95 to a couple of hundred bucks.

A peaked cap like a breton fisherman's looks good, but can be a bit too nautical.

The Wigens Dalby cap would work with a peacoat, I think. The earflaps are great for very cold, windy days. Harris Tweed. Not outrageously priced. It has bits of blue and black, so it will work with a peacoat of either color:

I love the Christys hats but sadly I am in between sizes; they never fit me.

Borsalino makes some nice Harris Tweed hats, but no earflaps.
