1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

After intensive anger management therapy David Banner is now able to keep his condition somewhat in control. In this photo he is only slightly annoyed.

Take away those green things (socks, gloves, tie) and I think this will be quite nice.
Pitty-guys seem to be so over top because otherways their picture won't be on tumblr...

And while you're at it, take away the coat and give it back to the ringmaster.

What's special about this one is that it's not just over the top (which we all realise is a marketing tool for these guys), it's that he couldn't be bothered to get gloves that fit.

I wasn't expecting this. He usually does the peacock thing quite well...

I don't see anything wrong with that. Tucked into boots could go but otherwise

I don't like the boots, the popped lapel, the length of the coat sleeves, that OMGWTFBBQ watch thing...

Waxed cashmere sounds scary. Any pics?

I realize that he does his own thing but it almost always fits really well and is based on classic tailoring.

A boxy tweed nehru jacket seems like a mistake - as objectively as you can be about this sort of thing.

    It's about coat liningsthis year.

This is pretty classic, too. It is really very similar to the original sporting ghillie suit that gave rise to the modern suitcoat. There is a pretty good picture of Edward VII (I think) wearing one in Hardy Amies, the Englishman's Suit.

Not exactly the same, but close, and I know I have seen them with a straight front bottom, too.

Crompton succumbs to Pitti. The cashmere shawl is apparently being used to ward off the rain, but a child could tell you that an umbrella is cheaper and more efficient in that regard.
