1. I'd like to announce that animated avatars are now available again. You'll have to reload, but they are once more possible.

We've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes. The site load speed was already under 1/2 of what Huddler's was, on average, and we installed cloudflare, which means that the site should be even faster. A ton more will go on in the weeks and months to come, and some things will be more visibile, and some less.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

Has RLBL fallen out of favour with SF?

Maybe, I've had a 44L RLBL suit in a very subtle charcoal pattern on B&S for a week at a reasonable price, $500, and have had no inquiries yet. Thinking of putting it on Ebay as it may just be too big for the typical SF buyer.

Ralph Lauren Black Label has fallen on the wayside because we all only buy for brand. Anything less than Hermes, Kiton, Attolini etc is pure crap and wont win you the respect you deserve. RLBL = pure trash, and we all know it. Ralph Lauren is not conning us anymore with his second rate offerings.

Whomsoever knows me will deduce from this post I am trolling and kidding around. RLBL appears to have fallen out of favor due to limited degrees of freedom in bargain suit racks or online - i.e. lack of cheap affordable inventory in our usual bargain hunting spots. At retail, most here would prefer to spend $900 on an Isaia suit versus $800+ on a RLBL suit. Nuff zed, but RLBL is still a good brand worthy of investment if you fit it.

RLBL is Caruso. That is plenty in my book.

Thom Browne / Black Fleece should be perfect

I think there's less since the new update on forum, plenty of sellers appealing to people who were not on the forum before. A bunch of my sales come from people with one or two posts and usually it's for some J. Crew or the like

The shoulders killed it for me. I do find their sportswear to be favourable and more reasonable then RLPL.

Is this still the case? I know Caruso now makes RLPL, but the 'Caruso tag' isn't in the latest RLBL suits that I've seen. Can someone confirm?

And I think RLBL still does well here; especially the staple items.

I think it has something to do with the season: we're about a month past the conclusion of the end-of-winter sales meaning people have gotten good prices from the RL stores, Bloomingdale's and Barney's so they're less likely to go buy someone else' used suit on the internet.

Obama's been president for like forever, so the prestige of a black label is so old hat.

Coming to stores Spring Summer 2014: RLML:
