I have a belove duffle coat, but two of the ropes are badly frayed, and won't make it through the winter. Any luck having a tailor replace them? Should I provide my own rope?

Two leather straps recently snapped on my thrifted Gloverall and I ordered new ones from the company's website. She doesn't know this yet, but my girlfriend's mother will be doing the sewing.

Agree with Matty. Contact Gloverall. Last time I checked, they sold replacement kits.
