My travel schedule will preclude attending the next three Chan visits and I wanted to have them make a suit for me. They already have a paper pattern on file for me. Has anyone here done this yet?

I've done part in person, part via email. Are you worried about something in particular? If you don't need any changes made to your pattern and you know what fabric you want, I don't see it being a problem at all.

After having ordered three suits in person, I'm working on ordering a blazer through e-mail, although Chan's still waiting to get fabric swatches from its supplier to send to me.

Thanks-no real concerns. Was happy with the last one they made and would want to meet in person, but time won't allow. Thanks fellow Chan-ites!

Yes, go for it. It may even be a better idea than ordering on the tour, since you can include a full on list of what exactly you want.

One thing I forgot to mention, and it bodes well for ordering on e-mail: I ordered a couple of shirts from Chain using e-mail, and the shirts arrived in less than a month. Contrast that with ordering on one of the tours, where the wait is around three months.
