I see both H&H and TML are having sales if you buy mutiple dress shirts. Any comments on their quality and fit would be greatly appreciated.

I highly recommend Harvie & Hudson. I don't think there is a better value out there to be had in terms of dress shirts. Fit wise I would say the body runs pretty similar to Brooks Brothers slim fit on their regular shirts. Collar wise I would recommend going up a quarter of inch or so from your BB collar size, if possible.

Thanks, and it looks like it's around $150 U.S. for 3 shirts. Doesn't seem bad at all!

No, not bad. Really outstanding shirts. I would pay twice as much for an H&H shirt.

H&H is phenomenal. I see no reason to buy shirts anywhere else unless you want different collar styles.

I'd definitely recommend Harvie & Hudson, too.
Their shirts are very well made, and the collars and cuffs are excellent - unfused, with a really good interlining that it is not too thick and heavy, but not too light, either. It has just the right degree of springiness.

However, to illustrate the dangers of buying over the internet, I have the opposite "fit" experience from the posters above. I don't know if H&H include a "shrinkage" allowance for those who use commercial laundering or not, but I bought my usual collar size and found that H&H's collars were too big. Therefore, I'm going to go down 0.5" on my next order.

Also, the regular fitting is not slim, in my experience. Not too blousy, but in no way could it be regarded as slim-fitting.

TM Lewin shirts are fine for the price, too. Esp. their poplins and luxury twills. Though H&H is definitely a step up the ladder.

I'd agree. The few I've had before are also slightly large in the collar, but do balloon somewhat in the body. I was in St James' last weekend looking to buy their slim fit, but unfortunately there were only three or four patterns - a white, blue, stripe, and check. Nothing terribly exciting, but they hoped to expand the range in the future.

Even their 'slim' fitting is not too slim. TM Lewin fits me much better in the body.

Just back from London and a whirl up and down Jermyn Street. While the Harvie and Hudson shirts were nice I would make two comments:

1. The collar is quite tight and probably requires an increase of 1/4 - 1/2 inch to get it right. I'm a 16 but the 16 was positively choking me.

2. The collar height (if that is the right word) is a bit too short for my liking. It's not awful by any stretch of the imagination but I do prefer the height of the new CT black label over H and H.

I decided to pick up 4 or 5 of their Windsor slim fit shirts from TM Lewin. The quality of fabric does vary significantly from shirt to shirt so it is nice to be able to view, touch, and select them in person.
