Hartmax declares bankruptcy.

Hartmax has finally declared banktuptcy.

The stock fell another $.25 to $.15 ( a 94% drop for the year! ).

It's sad they've gone bankrupt, since they were so venerable ( first company to make zippered trousers ) and also the parent company of many brands, most notably HSM , and Hickey Freeman. I wasn't sure where to put this thread, so please move it if it deemed more applicable in another forum.

Almost everyone here, particularly the oldtimers are familiar with HSM, and HF.

I think it's sad, not unexpected, and a sign of the times.

They are re-orging, not liquidating.

Their brands will survive.
