I stumbled upon this site, nice handful of selection and 50% off if your size is available
'ausverkauft' has to be the coolest way of saying 'sold out' i've ever seen
also, i propose a lanky bro petition to convince nmwa to carry hwl in fw14. let's do it
I picked up a Harris Wharf jacket from the works ltd shop in Camden last autumn. I normally take a 50 in Italian sizing, but took a 52 in Harris Wharf. The 50 fit, but was a bit too snug for my liking. If your in London the Camden shop has some menswear, but carries mostly women's items. Present in Shoreditch actually carried a wider their variety of men's jackets last Autumn. I think they had about 8 or 9 different colors of the blazer and a charcoal overcoat. All the jackets have sold out, so I'm sure they'll be stocking them again this spring.
There's still a topcoat in size 52 for about $80 at Barney's Warehouse: http://www.barneyswarehouse.com/harris-wharf-wool-top-coat-502300100.html?index=1&cgid=men
Www.nittygrittystore.com also gets a decent selection.
Not for this season, it seems.
I don't really need NMWA to carry more items I want, but I wouldn't mind if it carried HWL. (I'm slim but not lanky.)
I like their designs like the below from last season but no lining on wool jackets/coats give me a straight jacket feel.
@LA Guy Did you really say you fit a size 48? I thought you'd be at least a 50. The Fabio Quaranta jacket fits me well, fitted shoulders. I think a size 50 would fit me better in the Harris Wharf
Wierd. Of course, the Fabio Quadrant is a heavier flannel, IIRC, while the Harris Wharf is a sort of heavy knit.
Sizing variation btwn pieces within the brand "makes sense" right?
yes, but they don't have too many models. And the sizing between pieces is fairly consistent.
So, who has a model to recommend? Was considering picking up one to try from Volls, but lately I don't like ordering overseas and the blue I find too bright though I think it maybe just how it was photo/edited. I'll volunteer to be the guinea pig, and will post a nice review...
toasty reviews are the best reviews. lookin forward to it
cultizm has a couple of spring pieces http://www.cultizm.com/index.php?cat=c189_Harris-Wharf-London.html
I'm 5'8, 145, 37" chest, usually wear size small in most brands. Would I be a 46 or 48?
Separate names with a comma.
