Speaking of wool baracuta harringtons...when I was at the shop in Odaiba, Tokyo they must have had about 25+ different wool G9s in colors and patterns I'd never seen before not even in London. Odd thing is they were priced about half of a standard cotton one. Wool ones sold for about $200 whereas the cotton ones were $375!!! The wool ones are really nice. I picked up a dark grey prince of wales Harrington in London sales couple years back for about $140 at their popup shop. Very soft and drapey wool makes it easy to wear much of year.

Somewhat off topic...

Get Smart, you seem to be the relative expert on Baracuta g9s (I read another thread where you were giving advice).

What do you know about the "Summer Harrington" shown here: http://www.stuartslondon.com/product...ngton%20Beige/

I'm trying to find it in Small, but no other sites seem to list it. Is it perhaps called something else?

I dont know much about them, except that I have one. Didnt know at the time it was called a "summer harrington" but it has that tartan lining in a mesh material like the one you linked. Otherwise same as a normal "slimfit" G9. The one I have is from 2 years ago and is a blue toned Prince of Wales w/red overcheck and with blue cuff and ribbing. Mine has no chest logo like the one at Stuarts. I think it's also sized by chest (36, 38, 40 etc) not S-L iirc

Where did you get yours? And when you bought it, what differentiated it from the other G9s in terms of name?

Baracuta pop-up store in Covent Garden, London back in 2009. Not sure if that store even exists since it was supposed to be temporary

The bomber jackets that are 50% off at unis now are very harrington-ish- same kind of collar, same back cape. Wool too.

If you go Baracuta, I would recommend oi polloi. Bought a G4 slimfit from them. Great service, surprisingly fast shipping, and about $100 cheaper than J Crew.
