Anyone with even a passing interest in the films of Joan Crawford, should see these two movies. They're not shown, often. In Harriet Craig, Crawford is outstanding as a castrating virago who must control everything and everyone in her midst. Some eye catching wardrobe changes, too.
Crawford plays a psychiatric nurse, in The Caretakers. Enough said. During one scene, she asks for a 'man to man' discussion with Robert Stack. The editing and script are inconsistent, but still an absorbing experience.
