I thought I'd wish the best Christmas and New Year possible to anyone on here, who, like me, has had maybe the worst year of his or her life!
In my case, my mother is critically ill and may not have much longer. Even though I'm an adult, I've always been extremely close to her and trying to do all I can to ease her pain overwhelms me.
A favorite pet cat of hers, always inside, died mysteriously this year.
I've had two eye procedures.
And I could list more...
Anyway, I visit this forum as I can just to keep my mind off things. Somehow, even though in better years, I'd probably be another one of the many people posting what I hope to get for Christmas, now it just seems hollow to me, as I just hope for normalcy.
So...in case there is somebody else here also rather bleak and overwhelmed, I want you to know you're not alone...if you are a praying type, pray for me and I will for you.
Our faith friends and hobbies will guide us out of the tunnel.
I've really enjoyed the clothing talk and many people who have gone out of their way to give me their advice, especially about shoes! No, I haven't decided yet!
