1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

It is Slim's birthday? We need to get together enough cash for a stripogram to deliver him a few dozen b-movie DVDs and a few cases of beer [IMG]
    Happy birthday!

When you're in your 40s, you'll look back on these times very fondly.

Except for those wasted hours watching the Seahawks.

    Happy Birthday.

Thanks! I'm going on a brewery tour this afternoon, so I suppose that's a good way to start off a Birthday.

    Happy birthday Koji!

Happy post-birthday - hopefully nobody you celebrated it with will later be revealed as a mass murderer.

Happy birthdays to B-rad, Tokyo, Versaceman, and Koji. Versaceman, which brewery?

Lakefront Brewery, a small local place that makes some really really good brews. Beats the hell out of taking the Miller tour. They have some varieties of beer that they make continously, and then something like two seasonal beers brewed at a time (the good thing about the tour is you can drink the seasonal beers before they've made their way to the store).

    One of my favorites:

Brewery tour was awesome. Normally you pay $5, get four wooden coins to redeem for beers (before, during, and after the tour), plus a pint glass, plus a voucher to use for a free Lakefront beer at a local bar. I mentioned that it was my birthday, and she winked at me and gave me a few extra coins.

Picked up some beer after the tour to drink later (Holiday Spice, which is 10% alcohol, but if you let it age for 6 months to a year - as this was - it reaches 12%) and then redeemed the voucher at a local bar, and shot some pool.

Great way to spend the afternoon.
