One of the world's most talented singers turned 70 today...and she is still chugging along. Happy Birthday to Dame Bassey, Wales' greatest daughter and a national treasure of the U.K.
For an example of her unbelievable skill, I offer up this video of her from 2005. I'd like to see any of the singers on the charts today belt like this when they're near 70. The song is her new single (set for release this month), "The Living Tree". Great song. The ending is phenomenal.
