Hang your ties or roll them up?

I have about 25 ties that I hang on a revolving tie-rack.

I wear a tie about once a month (yes, a newbie)

It seems that the silk tends to stretch from the effects of gravity.

Should I be rolling them up and keeping them in something such as a jewelry armoir?

Do you guys hang your ties or roll them up?

I hang mine. I use plain wooden hangers, nothing fancy.

I used to hang mine, but felt they were too exposed to dust and what have you etc...I now store them in my dresser drawer in cedar tie boxes rolled up. I feel they are now easier to manage and organize.

I was under the impression that hanging ties was bad for ties, but I could be wrong.

Hang for a day to air out then rolled.

It's suppose to be bad for knit ties but I haven't heard anything about it being bad for regular ties.

I couldn't imagine why hanging ties would be bad. It's not like there is any force being applied to them.

I don't wear ties that often these days, but I deal with them like this too.

I lay them flat on a shelf, folded in half.
