Oh, this shoe absolutely sings to me. Beautiful work. Please make a pair for me!
Why not, this prototype in Goodyear welted with profile in horse natural leather, I hope to attach better pictures soon. P.S. where are you from?

Thanks, unfortunately the photos do not see well (I am a bad photographer), and we can not permit stores outside.
You are far better than I am. I'm pretty sure I traded all potential talent I might have for visual art away at an early age, probably for something silly like a piece of chocolate. What exactly do you mean by horse natural leather? As opposed to shell cordovan? Also, out of curiosity: how do you deal with measurements for customers who are not immediately available?

Shell Cordovan, is a particular Leather, because it's the buttocks of the horse that is worked for 6 months, this fact makes it great as its cost (a piece about 3 feet from the company that I have this mentioned costs around 180 € and for us a couple of shoes like that it takes 1.5 pieces you do the price).

Horse natural leather, instead the entire skin of the horse (which also has the buttocks) is colorless (neutral) and all surface treatments we do them. The price of the leather is a lot cheaper, has a comparable quality, and allows us to have all colors, which is impossible with the Shell Cordovan.

Maybe in america shell cordovan is much cheaper, but in Italy is very expensive.

I hope I was clear, my English is bad

Excellent question. I am from the U.S. How would I get measured for your shoes?

I may be coming back to Italy this fall, but in the event that I don't we would have to figure out the fitting.

For now we are planning to work abroad, we hope to be operational in the next months. Now we only Italian clients, we also need a good English course.[IMG]

For size, we use a custom method that will allow us to build your shoes almost to measure with the help of a webcam. But is not ready for now, We test it next time.

If you come in Italy, come and visit us, we would be happy.

I didn't like the designs of some of the shoes you first posted in this thread, but the last several I've liked much more. Perhaps one day, when you've set up your international ordering website, I may give you a try. We'll see. But for now, I'm liking what you've shown us. So well done [IMG]

Shoe looks well made, but the style isn't to my taste. That said, as they are handmade, I'd wager If I were in the market you'd accommodate styling requests to some degree. (Sadly, poor English teacher and nice handmade shoes are incompatible.)

    what do you think?

Excellent video and great Dire Straits track as well. Ignore the bleatings of those that do not appreciate the genius of Bentivegna and Norvegese construction.

This leather is natural Calf, and then we color, paste another picture to see another effect.

Thanks a lot, I think Bentivegna Construction is the top, but the taste is unquestionable.

You never know, maybe in a while you buy a pair (not mine).[IMG]

In America shell cordovan will not be cheaper. I got my quotation for grade 1 (about 2 square feet) at US$243.
I don't know how much a horse natural leather cost. However, the 3 oz horse front in America is just USD3.5/sq ft. Two square feet will cost just US$7 compare to US$243 for 2sqft shell cordovan.

Ok, the price is similar, So how are the sites to sell goodyear shoes with cordovan at $ 400? (is industrial?)

Our horse leather is tanned in barrel, his work takes about a month (compared with 6 shell cordovan) and its price is about € 30 to the foot. I think that for some types of boots and shoes is much better than the shell, Unfortunately, the photos can not show.
