After getting some custom projects recently for Vespa seat and cases.
Here is one we actually got some time to take pics.

Adding to the gentlemen collections, here is a bi-fold made of genuine snake skin.

Many asked why is snake/crocodile skin products more expensive than normal leather? And of cos, most will know that the processes and the preparation for exotic is different thus the price range.

But alot of us doesn't know that snake scales (in this context) are not uniform and selecting the part for crafting is one of the most important part of working with exotic skins.
After Snake skins are supplied to us in a full snake length, the best potion to use is only the center part - belly. Because this is the area that shows best pattern of the scales, in the most natural way, the way the snake grew.

The remaining potion of the skin will be thrown away as they will be too little for next project.

Thus, the prices are usually higher due to its non-economical characteristics. Even this, exotic skins are still very much sought after by leather fanatics.

I thought I'd share a photo of a natural key chain that had been used for over a year. The aging is incredible...

A wallet made specially for Singapore's National Day :)

Commonly, Ostrich Skin are known for its bumps or dots on this skins due to the removal of their feathers during tannery processes. But little do we know that on the leg and thigh potion of the Ostrich, we can find awesome grains and amazing texture of the skin.
Adding to its rarity of production, each leg of the animal can only make 1 piece of wallet size leathercraft.

We want to commemorate our National Day 2011 with this Limited Edition wallet. We are a small country but we are different in our own way. Making a difference out of the common, tough and steadfast, withstanding all stormy weathers.

I've been doing a bit more traveling and decided to make a travel wallet that would help ease check in, security, etc. Holds my boarding passes, ID, credit card, and the big pocket holds my iphone.

Very clean work, schpacko!

I've been thinking about making myself a double ring belt for a while now, so I gave it a go the other day. I think the sizing is a little off on the first one. I could have gone another inch or two longer on the main part of the belt, and then shortened the reverse end.

The rings I'm using are rather hefty.

I thought I'd add a keeper at the transition. It works rather well, but it's a little difficult to run the keeper through all of the belt loops when putting the belt on or taking it off. It's not bad on standard jeans belt loops, though.
