1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

handicapped people for an afternoon in Manhatten

    thanks - yeah, I have taken my mother to Prague and Paris, I know what you mean. this is meant to be a 2-3 hour group activitiy, so it is a little different than that. I have to keep 3 kids under the age of 10 engaged, as well as 7 adults, without us wanting to kill each other. I don't think we will do too much, but I do want there to be some activities, so that it is a memorable day for my mother.

    Z, lunch someplace kosher and the buggy ride in Central Park should fill 3 hours. Perhaps you could end the day with ice cream or something special for the kids.
