Ron Rider Oslo Treccia Handsewn Boots in size US 11. The handwork on these boots and overall craftsmanship is insane! Ron's Legendary Antiquing is also present throughout, forming an elegant, but versatile boot. Perfect with woolen pants in the office or denims for a casual day on the town. Brand New in Box. Description and Photos From RiderBoot Website: "The 'Oslo' is a true 'Treccia' stitched, Norvegese construction, handsewn in the Goodyear method, Chukka boot available here in the handfinished 'Miro' calfskin. Treccia is often referred to in the States as 'Norvegese', but this would be, technically, incorrect. 'Treccia' refers to the triple, intertwined, heavy linen thread that you see along the base of the upper, and that is handstitched thru the upper into a feather (ridge) cut into the underside of the insole. 'Norvegese' refers to the upper being pulled out (as opposed to under) away from the last where another stitch connects the upper to a full leather midsole, which is stitched thru to the outsole. As you can tell, a very complicated, labor intensive and extremely durable construction. To finish it off, we have hand sponged and stained the French Calf uppers in an antiqued effect. The last used on the 'Oslo' highlights both the work and the finishing, and fits true-to-size."
