I think I will be lazy this year and be carlton banks. Otherwise, I will try to do something with Eddie murphy (bev hills cop most likely, trading places and coming to america would be difficult since I'd have to wear a suit).

I'm going as Robin Hood. The Errol Flynn version, no less. It was my favorite movie as a kid, mostly because my dad would always watch it with me.

Anyway, I'm already taking a lot of shit for it! Would any of you guys actually willingly wear tights with a costume, or have I gone batshit crazy?

I have and would do so again under the right circumstances. But there's no half-measures with tights. Go strong or stay home.

I think maybe this year I'll shave my head, pull on a suit and run around with a bag of money being... whatshisname... Paulson. Yeah, Henry Paulson.

Trafalgar day tomorrow [IMG] I was thinking of getting a white tie outfit and going as dracula... [IMG] hell i'm pale enough I've been wanting some evening tails, but I'm not invited to too many events which require them... Might even be semi appropriate - we're starting halloween with a party in the canadian embassy, before heading out to a club [IMG]

    Steampunk FTW.

anyone got some goggles they need to sell?

A buddy here is doing a steampunk superhero. If you can't find the goggles anywhere else, they're pretty easy to get here. Run about $50.

I'm thinking about being this guy, on the white horse:

    or possibly this one:

Unfortunately I don't have the hair for Hungary's first king, St Stephen:

Did you go as Robin Hood or something else?

I've decided that I'm definitely doing it.

I'm hitting the Halloween parties as the Green Man from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

I was considering this. Where'd you find the green man suit and what are they actually called?

You should get a purple full body leather suit like in his Raw performance.

We were invited to a costume party this past weekend. I was going to be Juan Valdez because it would be easy to pull off but we ended up not going. I told my girl she could be the donkey [IMG] Yeah she wasn't too keen on that one, I'm pretty smooth huh?

Thanks, it is a bitch to get all of the necessary materials together...
Buying on ebay (I know), I need to get a good fit, and they're all bespoke so it's so difficult. Then get it altered, and try to find other accessories. [IMG]
The waistcoat might be difficult, so I may forego that, and buy one later for personal satisfaction. Who'll notice anyway? A full set of studs is impossible to find, and a suitable shirt could be tricky.
I'll probably get a pretied bow though

I don't think I've ever put so much effort into halloween since I was 5

Wow that would be awesome. I don't know if I'd want to walk around Adam's Morgan with that on though.

I usually spend a good bit of money, but this year I'm doing the cheapest costumer I can. I did it at work a while ago.

I'm taping a potato chip to my shoulder. Done.

    I'm going as Manton.

I will wear a suit made of 132 oz cloth with contrasting socks and bandaid colored shoes.
