1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

100 Pounds at Toni & Guy, and I tip 5 pounds, but in America the amount you tip is crazy.

I guess so, but London is expensive... I would think NYC and LA cost the same

CAN$18 for shampoo and cut, plus CAN$2 tip. (About US$15 total for those unwilling to do that math.) This is at a neighbourhood "salon" across town that I've been going to for years. I used to get very expensive cuts, until I decided the pretention wasn't worth wasting an extra $500 per year.

I pay $25 at a Scottsdale salon and tip $5 on top of that.

At my salon, the stylists wash the hair themselves, so no need to tip another person beyond my regular gal.
