1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Can any of you New Yorkers recommend a place to go. Since I get my hair cut every 2-3 months, I always go back home to Long Island at this salon to get it cut. While it's expensive, the guy does a good job each time, but I rarely go home anymore.

I'm looking for a place in New York City that can give me a trendy/cutting edge haircut, with a knowledgeable staff. I'm looking to get a stylish short haircut; mine is longer now. Please include prices with your recommendations. Thanks.

I go to Chelsea Barbers. Haircuts are only $20, and they're great. Since I get my hair cut every 3-4 weeks, I can't stand to spend more. If you want to spend more $80+, try Arrojo Cutler. Supposedly it's the best place in the city for mens haircuts. Go to www.newyorkmag.com and do a search on either to find little blurbs about each place. Both are kind of famous...
