Can someone recommend someone good for getting a haircut in Santa Monica. I'm looking to spend $35 - $40.

While there's plenty of pros/cons, I've gone to Vidal Sassoon a few times. $20, I forget which, and there's a discount if you're a student.

Pro: I've always liked the cut I get because it's extremely specific and down step by step.
Cons: Plan to spend 2-3 hours and appt's offered for specific times (10am/2pm).

I'm only in town a few weeks out of the year but I often plan a stop over for a cut and to pick up some Wella product that isn't available anywhere else.
