I tried Joe Mole when in New York (Lex near 73rd) at Chistmas and got a great cut.
Over the years, I found, and then eventually buried, three good barbers in Atlanta. Now I cannot find a good one. Anybody have any suggestions?

JF, what sort of cut are you looking for? (I realize I might have just opened the door for an "American Trad Haircuts" thread.)

A really great barber/stylist in the Mt. Vernon Rd/Jett Ferry/Dunwoody area. Roy is excellent with both men's and women's hair (cut/color) and was sufficiently well regarded professionally that he used to teach on a monthly basis at the Redken institute in NYC. His cell is 678-641-0807, and tell him J.T. recommended him.

Teach me not to proofread. Roy's last name is Solis (with the accent on the first syllable).

A Trad haircut is just what I want, as most people think I am still mired in 1962, prior to the English invasion from Liverpool.

Well, in that case, have you tried "Tommy's Barbershop" down in West Paces Ferry Shopping Center? It's been there for years, first owned by Tommy's dad, and now Tommy runs the place. It's right next door to the Goldberg's Bagel Shop in the shopping center. Should give you exactly what you want. There are folks that have been going there for 40 years.

Shave your head Mr Pollock. lt's free and it makes people fear you. l shave my head and everybody is scared of me - no-one wants to fight me anymore. Damn.

Fond regards: the shooman.

P.S: Mr Pollock, how would you rate your Gucci loafers. You forgot to rank them at Ask Andy's site. l would be really interested. (l hope you didn't mind me emailing you that time).
