Hey,

So I'm in the market for finally getting some styling products. Never used them and I feel that I need to start. My hair is very weird, it's somewhat light and thin, and it becomes a bit poofy after I take a shower. It also tends to sorta stay up on its own, meaning that without any gel or anything, it stays up. I don't like that look so I need something to bring it down a bit and allow me to style it like I want.

What product would you guys recommend, and what brand is good for that product?

Thanks.

My go-to is Bumble and Bumble sumotech.

I recently tried the new Baxter pomade...the slick one I really like. they have four of them...the clay...is better for when I have shorter hair.

Real talk: Aveda Men's styling cream (they also have pomades if you want more serious stuff). Malin + Goetz sage styling cream. Both are very good product, great for your hair, not too pliant but solid hold.
