Hi, can anyone tell me how to achieve this hair style? (I have slightly wavy hair, so this might be a little tricky)

Also I apologize if I'm in the wrong forum for asking this, I'm new here.

This sophisticated hairstyle will likely involve foil highlights and a lot of time to let it grow out. I would recommend going to a high-end salon in your area with that picture of the hairstyle you want and have as many stylists as possible crowd around the picture -- hopefully one of them will be confident that that's something they can do (probably a second- or third-tier stylist, or master stylist). Good luck and kindly let us know how it turns out.

Here are some tips:

1. Do you have the right hair?
To have a hairstyle just like that you need very straight hair. It will look slightly different, but still good IMO, if your hair is a little wavy. If you are on the curly side, however, it's just not going to happen.

2. Find a good hairstylist!
The most important thing is to find a hairstylist that is capable, up to date, understands how to work with your hair-type, and gives you styling tips. Usually this means spending more money... but not always. Since this is a more popular "asian" style, you can try visiting some trendy asian hair salons.

3. Bring the picture
Try bringing the picture along and asking the hairstylist if he can copy it.

4. Use a quality styling product
I suggest manipulator by bedhead. It's a little expensive, but it has great hold and separates your hair into nice "strands". It also smells really good.

Good luck!
