Aargh! I meant "question" in the title..... I am growing my hair a little longer and would like to slick it back in the fashion of say, the gentlemen below. I do not like the "crunchiness" of gel/mousse, my hair retains water horribly, and pomades/waxes do not get me the look I want. Do any of you gents have any idea what they may use to get this "wet all day" look whilst holding the hair in place. I have heard that it may be "hair tonic" which is petroleum-based, giving hair sheen without drying it. Any ideas? [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I too am looking for a product that will do this. I think pomades actually are the best bet; put them in when your hair is damp, then wet it again after it dries. This has sort of worked for me so far.

Hair tonic won't give you any hold if you want to wear your hair back.

Ah, thanks J! I tried doing some searching before I posted but didn't see that thread.
