So I have been growing my hair since graduating college. I let it be in grad school. Had it braided, dreaded, you name it. Now I have to enter the work force and need to do something about my hair. I'm somewhat attached to my long locks but I will do what I need to do. My hair is long and looks like Joakim Noah and Troy Polamalu's hair. I used to have really short cut and clean hair but I did not like it as much since the back of my head is pretty flat. My hair has volume and is wavy/kinky. What kind of hair cuts or styles would be ideal?

What kind of work are you going into? Unless it's professional sports or rock music just get a haircut, hippie.

Yeah I am probably going to cut my hair but I am trying to figure out what length and style would work. I am hoping to be able to donate my hair as well.

Well I was professional DJ'ing for a while but now need to get serious with a career. I have retail management experience and my MBA. I do not know exactly what work to get into here in Alaska. I was working at an oil rig after grad school doing manual labor. Yeah I guess I am somewhat of a hippie.
