You take sleeve measurements from the shoulder to the hem, not the armpit. Also, not sure you did this, but shoulders are done at the top on the back where the seams are farthest apart, not closest. 16" is rather narrow, even for a small.

PM'ed you bout the M65. Btw could you post measurments for the M65?

Shoulder to Shoulder is measured from the top of the shoulder on one sidewhere the sleeve meets the body (the area at the end of the collarbone), to the same point on the other side.
