I heard they opened one in Madison, WI (where I used, and probably will once again in the near future, live), so last time I was in town I swung by to check it out. Women's clothing as far as the eye could see. Talk about disappointment.

Same thing happened in Brookfield, WI.

Nothing but Women's clothing. It sucks.

I sort of understand the logic behind it considering most guys in Wisconsin tend to not be the most fashionable people around, but goddamnit, I really wanted to check out their fall clothing and pick up some cheap gear. Now I'll have to wait until around Thanksgiving to get down to Chicago to look at it.

I hope not. It's supposed to be 9000 sq ft which is enough for both...
They may not have updated it for Pasadena, but the "Store Locator" link on hm.com will show you which product lines will be at any given store. Pasadena only shows women's lines right now.

    Confirmed by LA Times today:

Locations: Pasadena store opens Thursday; Beverly Center on Oct. 26 and Arcadia's Westfield Santa Anita mall in November. (South Coast in the Spring)

What's on the racks: In Pasadena, it's women's wear only. Other locations will also have items for men, children and babies.

For some reason, the Midwest has a fairly high number of H&M stores. For example, Illinois has 6 locations, and more on the way.

So people lined up at the crack of dawn only to find out the store wasn't opening til the 26th? I bet a bunch of them were resellers. [IMG]

I thinkt he coverage was for the Pasadena location which opened today.

would it be better to hit up the Pasadena one as it opens (considering that I live in Koreatown L.A. and it would take a buttload of gas to get there) instead of waiting a month and hitting up the one opening in Beverly center?

Pasadena is far less of a zoo than the Beverly Center!, What do you drive to be so concerned about gas consumption from K-Town to Pas?, a Humvee!..

Funny, I was thinking yesterday after I found out about Pas how I'd rather drive out to Santa Anita than deal with the Bev Center. Santa Anita's 3 times further from Los Feliz than the Bev but I'd probably get to both in about the same amount of time. Make any sense?

Whodini!, I live in Silver Lake and would still rather hit up the Santa Anita Mall than deal with getting in and out of the Beverly Center Parking structure.

See what I mean? Getting to that part of town at any hour is the biggest headache in the world. Seems like a hop on the freeway and you're in Santa Anita in a matter of minutes. Ah, good ol' Silver Lake. Nice to meet you, neighbor.
