Guys, the Damier or Monogram Canvas by Louis Vuitton?

Damier, if I had to; in the 'graphite' colour it's almost nice.

The all-over monogram is an abomination. If you aren't a tasteless woman, a marsupialed rapper, or an Asian with the brandwhore gene, there's no excuse.

Damier if I had to choose an LV, but I still think it's a bit gauche. If that's your price range I think a Bottega weave would be nicer.

Neither to be honest. I do like some of Louis Vuittons plain and simple shoes, no gimmicks, good build, and classic styling. But 90% of their stuff sucks ass - shoes should be simple and elegant, not whoring logos or dumb check style designs. Unless of course you are a budding rap star.

I like the brown Damier and have 2 pieces of luggage in it. It would be surely SF approved if it was not LV. For small leather goods, Nomade is awesome but it does scratch easily.

I dont understand the hate, except for the 'monogram' stuff, rest is quite classy ... have a look at the stuff under men's section in taiga, nomade etc leathers.

I would go for Nomade or Utah, if I have to, damier graphite - especially the greenwich bag.
I just picked up the Weekend Sac in Utah....... absolutely adore it to bits. Nothing that screams 'LV' and such a classic bag. Whether SF approved or not, I could care less. If I like it, I go for it. So go for whatever that floats your boat.
On a side note, LV shoes are well made as well, I will pick one up eventually.
