Hey guys, I have never been able to find the perfect pair of sunglasses and I was at the airport waiting to go on vacation and I found the perfect pair at the duty free shop. Prada, model SPR52H and I couldnt believe how well it fit.

The price was outrageous and I knew I could get it cheaper online, so it took a phone picture and I messaged myself the model number to search for this perfect pair when I got back.

I have never owned my own pair of sunglasses due to my odd shaped head and therefore have lived through sunny days by squinting, which have caused lines around my eyes and pictures of me squinting, but I thought NO MORE!!!!.

So the whole trip i'm thinking about these sunglasses and when I came back last night to search on the internet, i found them for half the price listed at duty free so I was excited, BUT I ALSO FOUND OUT THEY WERE WOMENS SUNGLASSES!!!!! SO I NEED YOUR ADVICE......................

I have attached an image below, and also a few questions:

1) Are womens and mens sunglasses interchangeable/unisex , have you guys ever worn womens sunglasses?

2) Please look at the picture attached, or search for the model spr52h and tell me if you think that model even looks feminine??? I mean my girlfriend was with me and she didnt even say "those are girls glasses"

3) this last question is specifically for those people who are familiar with Prada sunglasses, and maybe could tell me if there are a "man" version of these exact glasses.

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR UNBIASED FEEDBACK!!!!!!

If you liked the glasses before, who cares if you found out they were for another gender? That you like them and they look good on you is all that counts.

Glasses are about the most unisex thing you can get, unless you get some that are pink with crystals/rhinestones on them saying "GIRRRRLLLLL" down the side.

Manytimes, items are assigned a gender ONLY for marketing purposes, as it is easier to sell an item that way. Fragrances, for example, are often this way, even though some of the biggest classics are actually very unisex.

So, no worries, be confident, and enjoy your glasses. If they are "perfect" for you, then nothing else matters.

Definitely get them and post A LOT of pictures as you wear them. They look unisex to me and I think they'll catch on here at SF.

It doesn't matter. 90% of the glasses (including those) are no different for men or women, other than the size might be a little smaller. But you said you have an odd-sized head, so you will probably need girls or junior glasses to fit properly. Enjoy and stop thinking about it.

Am I the only one who thinks these are hideous? The very first thing that came to my mind when I saw the images was clubbing in Miami. Last time I was there, all the dudes were decked out in AX gear and sunglasses just like those.

Ah...yes Miami. I stay in Miami on business several times a year, and I am always dumbfounded at the "insect" look of those sunglasses. Those sunglasses paired with an obnoxious A/X t-shirt is classic of new money...money does not buy you class. Of course I will take much flack for wearing horsebit loafers sans socks with white pants, but I do like the feel/look paired with a plain s shirt or polo for a casual day in Miami.
