No larger sizes on the grabs...
@joshgustin Well. Should they not go out and one is a 32 Straight I'll buy them. Emailed Cody last week but he said grab bag would be the only way. Happy to be a backup plan though
I'd like to make a plea for a 36 inseam on all jeans. I have waist size 32 and inseam 36, which now makes buying your jeans a no go - sadly.
I second that. I am a 33x36 and sadly cannot buy my proper size in Gustin.
@joshgustin any pictures yet of completed duck canvas trousers? I've backed the campaign (Brian aka beer and denim on the Community) but I'd really like to see them beforehand.
I would like to similarly plea for a 'short option of say a 30-32 inseam (31 being ideal). Wearing a 34 inseam with short legs (I'm 5'9"-5'10") looks ridiculous - either a giant multi-layer cuff or they just plain look like they don't fit. It would save a trip/cost to the tailor and the loss of the awesome Gustin construction as I can't find someone here to keep the original hem
I understand why this is difficult with the business model, but it adds a layer of complication to buying what should be a no fuss pant
Haha at least ya don't have to cuff it five times
Just received my Italian greenlines today! Quality is suburb and the denim itself is awesome because of the neppy and texture it has. I ordered size 29's which are kinda tight at the waist so I'm hoping they stretch a bit, unlike my N&F jeans. Also, I was hoping they'd be a bit slimmer but I guess I just have skinny legs. In conclusion, construction and quality looks spot on but for my case the thigh area could have been slightly slimmer.
IMO the back pockets are slightly too low
that's good to hear. I'll check them mine once I get home! You were hoping it was slimmer through the thighs?
grey silks just arrived......they are sick!
Anyone received jeans from the Black Friday sale yet?
Yeah, but I'm more on the skinny side so if you have an average built I'm sure you'll find them slim enough
A USPS label just got generated for my Cone Pima Fires, so barring Canada Post incompetence, I should see them the end of next week, maybe.
I ordered a pair Japan Standards from the Black Friday sale and I don't expect them to land until the end of the month. My Cone Pima Fires are a few weeks late but I rather have Gustin get them right the first time and blow a tentative shipping date than rush the jeans/shirts out the door only to have quality control issues.
A pic of my jeans on hand:
L-R: Heavy American, Heavy Japan, Rainbow Nep, 1776
Italian Greenline, Cone Pima Fire, BluexBlack, The Dark
Unfortunately, I've emailed Gustin about the BluexBlack which came in 1-1.25" inch too small
