I'm thinking of backing the heavy caramel chino and wondering if I should plan for stretch in the waist.

    Hobbs32Reg,

I thought you guys would try and guess??? Haha!

OK, starting on the left, top to bottom:

    #52 - Rainbow Nep
    #125 - Grey Silk2
    #133 - Italian Powder Blue
    #91 - BlackXAqua
    #119 - Japan Azure
    #111 - The Twenty Six

    Center top to bottom:

    #67 - GreyXBlack
    #124 - The Hemp
    #82 - American Sixteener
#99 - BlackXBlack (the one that started me on the Gustin addiction)
    #180 - Loomstate Black
    #71 - American Classic

    Right top to bottom:

    #54 - Black 3
    #2 - Japan Standard
    #79 - Loomstate
    #76 - Raw Umber
    #104 - The Oxblood
    #136 - The Grey Herringbone

I'm currently keeping my eye on the #179 Postal Herringbone. I really like the h-bone patterns, and I think if I break down sooner than later for something, it will be one of them. Well, and if anything in a mid- to heavyweight denim with a purple weft is released. I'd back that instantly!

I have the denim good life though. I can wear jeans to work, and I wear the "dressier" denim, such as the Grey Silks, Raw Umber, GreyXBlack, Grey Herringbone, and BlackXAqua as dress pants in place of chinos. Even the Japan Azures are a passable dressier denim in the summer.

Their L t-shirts (heather grey and organic white so far) are perfect for me @ 6' 170-chest-40ish. Their classic fit large in button downs are also perfect on me. I was worried thinking they would be a bit big. Gotta say I am really relieved and pleasantly surprised. Nice quality and price point Gustin.

Japan Military Green chino is gorgeous. Awesome color and weight. I'll take a hi res shot once they're tailored.

Perfect chino weight is 9-10 oz, I feel.

Anyone order a 30 Slim Desert Canvas chino? I have a 31 on the way and would love to swap; my 30 Slim JP Mil greens fit better than I thought.

    @joshgustin

Any updates on the army green herringbone chore coat?

Excited for the pink selvedge, hunter green, and lavender heavy weight chambray shirts!

The chinos don't stretch like the jeans, you're better off sizing up to get closer to true waist size, in my opinion.

I think they're great.....the feel is top notch, and they fit me well (medium). I've ordered both large and medium button down's and they both fit fairly well, albeit differently, if that gives any idea on sizing. I'm 6ft and 165lbs. The large button downs are a tad bit on the "tenty" side, and the medium button downs are a little tight around the chest.

What is your chest size? You referring to the button downs in classic fit or slim fit?

I'm 5'8 160 with a 37"ish chest. I feel like a medium will be too big at 41.75" and a small might be a tad bit snug at 39.25".

Im about your size but with a 39" chest and I love the smalls. I tried the medium and it felt good but I tried small and love it.

I am referring to the classic fit small

If you are talking about button down shirts. Get a small classic fit. If you have a 37" chest there is no way a 39.25" shirt is going to fit you. I have a 37.5" chest and the small classic fit is almost perfect which is the 41.5".

It depends on the rest of your torso...I have a 37-38" chest and the slim smalls fit me well. It depends what kind of fit you're going for. The regular smalls fit well for a slightly more relaxed fit.
