I can access it via my phone, but not my computer. . . I just figured the Gustin kids were sick of hearing negative things they have no intention of addressing. . .

Thanks, it's a medium classic workshirt and I'm about 6’1’’ tall with about 40 chest. I wear large in Iron Heart for reference.

    try logging in again.

For what it's worth, I know there's been a lot of controversy/complaints recently, but I just got two orders in the mail this past week. The GreyXWhites from november, which were a month late, and the Cone Blacks, which were right on time. This was the first time I've ever had something be late from Gustin and I've placed a decent amount of orders. A little annoyed, sure, but not a deal breaker. They also fit great. Both are 30 slims, and were pretty spot on. Looking forward to wearing them in the spring.

Has anyone received their CPO's? Would love to see them in action. I know the pockets are a bit too much for me but would love to see what peoples thoughts are that bought them.

So it looks like my brother's going to pick up a pair of Gustins. Lame question, but does anybody have a recommendation for a 'if you're only going to back one pair, get this denim' type of situation?

Heavy American for value or Okayama Standard for the cloth.

    I received mine.
    I got the https://www.weargustin.com/campaigns/1117
    A few comments:
    Cons:
    • I was a little disappointed about the weight of the material.
    • I realized it was light, but this was really more of a shirt than a light jacket.
    • I was also disappointed about the shipping being so much more, as this wasn't a heavy item, and jeans I received weighed more.
    • It would have been ideal lined due to the weight.
    • The collar doesn't lay very nicely, but this may change over time.
    Pros:
    • I am sure the original one was better with the heavier weight wool.
    • The pockets do not bother me. I thought they would, but once on, I didn't notice them.
    • I love the wool in general.

Would I buy it again... I am 50/50, as of right now.
I have to see how it wears in the warmer spring months.

I have several pair of cone denim jeans and Okayama denim is FAR superior, unless you don't care how long the jeans last. The Okayama denim I have has a tighter weave and softer cotton than the cone stuff.

Of my 8 Gustin jeans, my favorites are 1) Loomstate, 2) Okyama Standard, and 3) Heavy American. For a first pair I would stay away from Loomstate, since the sizing can be tricky and Gustin won't take them back after shrinking.

With Gustin's business model, it's probably a mistake for your brother to get his heart set on a specific fabric, since he will have no idea when (if ever) it will be offered again. Better to look at the current offerings, and when one comes up that looks interesting, then jump on it.

I also got the Woolrich herringbone CPO. I agree that I wish it was lined, because the wool is itchy if you wear it over a T-shirt. I also wish it had pockets for your hands. And, I have the same issue with the collar that bkotsko mentioned. It seems almost like it was shipped without being appropriately flattened or something. However, it seems like something that will go away, and could be fixed if you creased it manually somehow.

Other than that, it's great. Seems to fit well. It's too light-weight for winter wear unless you have a sweater or something underneath, but it will be great on its own once temps hit the 30s again. Overall, I'm very satisfied, because it's basically an overshirt, and I needed one of those.

I am wearing it at work today. I will post a fit pic when I get home.

I'd vote for the Okayama every single time! Every time I wear it I get a nice comment, usually for their color.
It was my first Gustin jeans and I would recommend it to everyone.
The only bad thing is that they stretched waaaaay too much....
