@joshgustin I'm using my first post on styleforum to ask for the Downtown Browns to come back. You weren't making 40s when they ran in August and I'd really like a pair.
Also, any chance you'll be making 40" chinos in the future?

I was actually just looking through fabric today for some good brown selvedge. Not sure we'll get that exact style again but brown will definitely make a comeback.

^I'd love to see some beefier twills or tweeds for the chinos...

Heavier in texture, I mean. Like a covert twill, even...

    ...or a cotton/wool tweed?

@joshgustin While we're on the topic, and with winter ending, I was actually hoping for some lighter-weight chinos. I have an old pair of oxford cloth chinos from Brooks Brothers (same weight as their shirts) which are on their last legs, and would love to replace them with something from you guys. I feel like a 5+ oz. chambray could work for pants, or maybe something with linen mixed in? Definitely looking for chinos; thanks to you I've already got too many pairs of summer denim ;-).

Has any one bought jeans in the "Italy Sea Blue" color? I'm interested to see how they look once worn in.

General fit question...I wear 33/34 in Levi's 513s, 33 in Joe's Brixtons, and 33 in Seven Slimmy. My waist is a 32/33 but legs are more suited for a 34. Contemplating a 33 in the slim fits, I like a slight taper/straight leg but not too skinny or tapered. Thoughts?

Got my first pair of heavy Americans today. I bought them a size larger, intending to wash and dry and fade them. Anyone have thoughts on this plan?

I own many shirts with a 45" chest which fit slightly big. Gustin large shows 45.5" chest yet is very tight. I really don't understabd their measurements.

33 slim is what I ordered (chinos and lightweight denim).
They both fit very well, I'm a solid 33, tilting towards 34 periodically.
I have all my pants taken up, wear them shorter than I once did.

You can fade them by wearing them. I don't understand the part about buying them a size larger or washing and drying them.

Well, the jeans I currently have shrank after cold-washing and not drying them. But I'll get back to you in ten years with an update after I've faded them by wearing them.

Unless they are unsanfordized they will stretch back to where they were except for possibly the inseam. And yes, following up in 10 years would be interesting. By then you may need the extra room.

Anybody have an idea (Josh? presumably a straight:) of what fit the #22 USA Military Twill model is wearing in current funding picks? The slims on the first round were like jeggings on me while my normal G 33 slim jeans have been consistently nice. Thanks! Really interested in comparing these to the Epaulets I've been wearing.

Edit: Again, it would be extremely informative to include pant fit and man size in pics. How about the pics in the Desert Duck Canvas (presumably a slim?).Thanks!
