What do you think of the socks? Do they seem like the elastic will hold up?
My other ones, mostly wool, seem to be holding up well, but they're pretty casual so they only see weekend wear. These are my first mostly cotton ones, but they are definitely a premium price for socks.

Yeah very expensive. I had some credit left over and used them for the socks otherwise I would have passed.

Oh nice, they have the brushed chambray back. I really dig this fabric, I'll have to back these with the new sizing in mind. :/

Bummer! Was looking forward to these:

I'm writing to let you know some unfortunate news. There was a problem with #31 Indigo Rainbow 5 Pocket - 33 Straight (order XXXXXXXXXX), and we're unable to send it. Allow me to explain.

At any given time we've got hundreds of items in production. After each product is sewn it gets hand-inspected to make sure there are no issues. We decide that around 1% don't live up to our quality standards - there's an issue with the fabric or some sewing defect. We only want to send products that we are proud of and that we know you will love. Your order was unluckily part of that one percent.

We can't apologize enough for this mistake, and we're working hard to get continue getting better at this as we grow.

We've returned all of your money back to your original form of payment, and an extra $25 of store credit in your Gustin account as an apology.

Lighting was good when I was taking a photo of my shoes so it shoes the texture of the Indigo Dobby Herringbone well.

Maybe I'm smoking crack, but those pink chambrays are ******* fire. Instant backed. Then thought I'd better check in with the girl and she said "Sure, why not." YES.

The orange Gustin trucker and a pair of orange Brooks Brothers chinos are the loudest I've gone, but those pink chambrays will be stellar! You have to post picks.

I just received my #478 Vintage red featherweight selvedge jeans. Perfect for a So Cal fall. Took an age but their team helped me out as much as they could. Also my 1968 jean order just shipped in way less time. Jus wanted to give my appreciation. Cheers

Finally received my last jeans order so I could have all of them hemmed at once (6-7 pairs I think), pinned them and called my tailor just to find out she will be out until early Oct. :brick:

She's the only one I trust with a suit coat that I need altered so I'll just have to wait, I mean Gustin = waiting anyway.

Is she hard to get to? I would have done them a few at a time if you have that many rather than waiting for them all to arrive.

I could have done that I just figured I'd wait since I wasn't wearing many jeans in the summer. But it was just bad luck she was going to be off for a couple of weeks when I decided to call and schedule an app.

I will say sizing definitely seems to vary slightly I have a pair of 38's that fit wonderfully but others that were too tight so I went with 40 on all my new ones. Some seem a tad loose, some as expected and some a bit snug but I guess will loosen with wear. None are heavyweight.

I bought one pair of Bravestar in 21.5oz and that's it for me for the heavy stuff. It's like breaking in carboard.

My favorite flannel shirt of all time is from Gustin. This was from a few years back when they offered tall sizes.

Now Gustin has an awesome shirt that I absolutely must have. But like every shirt I’ve wanted to buy over the last few years, they don’t make it in a tall size. What other options do I have?

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
