Finally I got my SC finished. I posted the pictures of 2nd fitting, and received a lot of constructive suggestions. See here: http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=232064

After some close inspection, I found the pattern-match is bit off, especially on the left side of the jacket and the whole waistcoat. The tailor confessed he has done what he can do. They had zero experience with such kind of fabric before. Oops..

Something wrong with the back of the sleeves, any suggestions?

I followed Despos's advice to adjust the vents.

The armholes are not very small, but acceptable.

This is my first waistcoat. I absolutely have no knowledge. Suggestions please!

Do you think the jacket is a bit short?

No pants? also, where is there a pattern matching issue?

edit- it looks good. Not a fan of the pattern, but the cut and fit looks good. I like the roped shoulders.

They are matched not precisely.

No pants. Actually I am not gonna wear the waistcoat with the jacket in real life.

The problem is quite visible on the waistcoat. You see the imbalance between left piece and the right piece.

Is he not able to readjust the buttons a little? It's very slight...

It's better to have the pattern slightly asymmetrical than make the fit asymmetrical by messing with the buttons.

Dark brown or navy to match. Charcoal or white to contrast.

My Father has the same exact jacket and it looks great with brown or charcoal pants.
