i was looking for something timeless that could work its way from jeans up to suits and came upon the gucci mens moccassins with horsebit and signature web. i tried the ones without the web and really liked that the masculine feel, especially with jeans, but fell in love with the detail of the webbed line. of course i'm aware of the high cost of gucci, have owned 2 pairs each for over 11 years, take great care of them, and find them more comfortable over time. the prada i've owned are ok, and i don't like the move away from a classic look. please talk to me about why i should dump the gucci (they're epic) and side with ferragamo, as there is so much talk about that...and yes, i'm looking for a loafer that can dress down and up.
