1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Stopped in jcrew on 5th avenue yesterday and saw not only Alden boots and spring court shoes but a barracuda harrington type jacket. wtf?

Now i hear they’ll be teaming up with fjallraven.

These are quality brands i have done the leg work to find. There is certain sense of ownership in the fact that not everyone knows these brands. Now any schmuck off the street just walks into a jcrew has these great brands at his disposal.

stop jcrew. Go back to selling your overpriced button downs and such. I know, its also the brands selling to jcrew.

Looks like we have an integrity vs selling out issue here...

The only reason anyone would do a collab with Fjallraven is because they are mindlessly following trends. Teger summed up Fjallraven's hype well awhile ago:

I think fjallraven trolled so many boutiques so hard. so ugly yet everyone bought so deep lol

You sound like a twat. Stop acting like your the only guy to 'discover' these brands, these companies have been in business for a long time precisely because people know who they are and buy their products.

Did I mention you were a twat?

Meh, Wal-Mart sells Clorox bleach, but I still buy it (elsewhere) to clean my white cotton undershirts.

    x-post from J. Crew thread:
I was browsing the J. Crew site today on a whim and saw this: [IMG] What the fuck.
Those look like the sort of shoes that would logically be paired with these jeans: [IMG] And then there's this golden nugget in the copy: "After years of being available only in Japan, the model's stateside rerelease has also been a cause cÃ[IMG]lèbre among connoisseurs." Ah yes, the famed New Balance comfort sneaker connoisseurs.
    hahahahahahah
